Kardashian has incredible skin, and she takes care of it. She writes on her app that she always tries out new products for her skin, and also has her staple products in her routine. “I love to try out new beauty and skincare products, but there are some that I’ll just never give up. I’ve gotten into such a good routine because I use products that work together and really see results.”
Kardashian is open about having psoriasis, and writes how she treats it on her app. She says that she likes to use the Clarify Home Light Therapy System. “I love it because it’s a handheld, at-home treatment that syncs with your phone to give you step-by-step instructions and tells you when to do treatments and take progress photos,” she says. “The device uses UVB and LED phototherapy to treat the skin. It’s been one of the only things that has helped clear my psoriasis. I’m so happy that I finally found something that works!”
When it comes to her diet, Kardashian says that she makes sure to eat healthy. She writes on her app that one of her diet secrets is eating simple carbs, especially when she’s finished or about to start a workout. Kardashian says that she got this tip from her personal trainer. “My trainer Mel [Alcantara] always says that before and after you train, you should eat simple carbs, like sweet potatoes, and small amounts of fat and protein,” she explains.
Kardashian also makes sure to incorporate a lot of veggies in her diet. She says on the same post on her app that she tries to include at least one vegetable in each of her meals. “You should also have veggies with your meals, since you need them to help effectively break down and absorb your protein, fat and carbs,” she says.
When it comes to working out, Kardashian tells E! News that she tries to get at least 90 minutes of exercise in each day. She says that she does a lot of weight training, and only a little bit of cardio, as she wants to focus on building muscle. “I work out about an hour-and-a-half every single day, heavy weights, I don’t do a lot of cardio.”
