KIERNAN Shipka from the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has spoken out about the death of her co-star Chance Perdomo.
Kiernan, 24, and Chance, 27, played the magical duo of Sabrina and Ambrose Spellman.
They were cast as cousins in the Chilling Adventures series which started in 2018 on Netflix and ran for four seasons.
On Friday, March 29, 2024, representatives for Chance announced that the actor had tragically died.
His death was the result of a motorcycle accident, and no one else was injured.
On Tuesday, Kiernan shared a post on Instagram in honor of her “Chancey Pants.”
She shared several photos and a video of her memories with the actor including a photo of him laughing.
She also included a selfie of her and Chance where their faces were pushed together and her arm was around his neck.
The third photo was similar to the second as it was a selfie of the duo, but it appeared to be from an earlier season of their television show.
The final slide of the Instagram post was a video from the set of Sabrina where Chance was giving the actress a piggyback ride.
In the caption, Kiernan wrote, “Oh man, this hurts.
“He was a one-of-a-kind soul. Just the most fiery, creative, loving, connected, and caring force you could possibly imagine…”
She continued, “As playful as he was kind. As loving as he was hilarious.
“He never failed to make me laugh and he never failed to keep me on my toes (or off of them if he was giving me a piggyback ride to my trailer which he often did. Thanks Chance.)
“His humanity was a generous gift to me and to so many people.”
She concluded her message by saying, “Really hard to picture this world without him in it.
“I loved him with my whole heart. I always will.”
In the comments, other actors including Caroline Rhea, the original Aunt Hilda in Sabrina the Teenage Witch, wrote messages of mourning.
MORE LOVE FOR CHANCE
Other actors from Sabrina have also made social media posts in honor of Chance since his death.
Tyler Cotton, who played Melvin in the show, shared several funny photos and videos of Chance on his Instagram.
His message included, “Whenever I would talk about Sabrina and the experience you were always one of the names I would bring up followed closely by ‘I love Chance.'”
Lucy Davis, who played Aunt Hilda in the new Sabrina, worked closely with Chance while playing his aunt.
She made an Instagram post that highlighted Chance’s personality and his presence on set.
In her message, she wrote that his death “isn’t believable” and that he was still meant to be here.
Chance was also the star of a new superhero drama called Gen V, a spinoff of The Boys on Amazon Prime.
Cast members from both shows shared their condolences online.
Season 2 of Gen V was supposed to start filming in April, but it has been indefinitely postponed after Chance’s death.
