Kid Brunswick has shared new track ‘Heaven Without You’.
The song is the second track to come from the Londoner’s forthcoming EP, ‘The Fall Part 1’, due out later this year, and follows the release of ‘Blow’ in January.
‘Heaven Without You’ arrives with a fast-paced music video that captures the frenetic energy of the tune, and which you can check out below.
A rock tune that also bears some of the artist’s appreciation for hip-hop, Kid Brunswick has described it as a “dark song people can connect to.”
Explaining the depth of feeling he put into creating the song, as well as the time he took to complete it, Kid Brunswick has said ‘Heaven Without You’ is:
“A song about heartbreak, loss, melancholic suicidal ideation. This song took 6 years to write & finish. The vocal chant was the only thing I kept from the original demo.
“The whole song was rewritten after I had to remove a very toxic, abusive person from my life. I used the lasting effect from that short time period with them as a subject for the lyrics in this song.”
