In an interview on The Howard Stern Show on Tuesday, Costner addressed the dating rumors with singer Jewel.
According to Costner, “Jewel and I are friends.
“We’ve never gone out, ever. I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have.”
The Yellowstone star went on to call Jewel “special” and “beautiful.”

“It just never has happened for us,” he concluded.
The pair sparked romance rumors after they were seen getting cozy at Jewel’s organization, Inspiring Children Foundation, in the British Virgin Islands on December 8, 2023.
Costner was a guest; however, as she was giving a speech, the Oscar-winning actor wrapped his hands around Jewel’s waist.
At the time, an insider shared with TMZ, “There was definitely something going on.
“You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anybody who saw them could tell something was going on.
“They were flirty, and when they were together, it was like they were both just lit up.”

Costner and Jewel’s dating rumors come months after his split from his ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner.
The two began dating in 1998 and tied the knot in 2004.
After nearly 20 years of marriage, Christine filed for divorce from Costner on May 1, citing “irreconcilable differences,” as per TMZ.
At the time, Costner’s representative told the outlet, “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Cosner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.”

According to Fox News, when she was asked if Joshua was her boyfriend at the time, Christine answered, “No.”
