On Oct. 11, Kentucky Rising, a one-night-only benefit concert, will be held at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky. The show will see performances by some of Eastern Kentucky’s most prominent figures who will take the stage in early fall in the name of charity.
The mid-October affair will see music by local talents turned industry mainstays: Chris Stapleton, Dwight Yoakam and Tyler Childers, all of whom have deep roots in the region.
The forthcoming Kentucky Rising event directly benefits the Kentucky Rising Fund, which assists with flood relief work and recovery efforts in Eastern Kentucky. Moreover, the charity aims to help flood victims, their families and first responders.
100% of net proceeds from the Kentucky Rising benefit concert will go to the Kentucky Rising Fund. Tickets for the one-night event go on sale Friday, Sept. 16, at KentuckyRising.com.
