Kendall Jenner is heating up social media in her two-piece Alo workout ensemble. In a new post, the supermodel flaunts her fit figure in a selfie, wearing a matching gray set from the athleisure brand. How does she keep approaching health and wellness on a daily basis? Here is everything you need to know about her routine.
Kendall starts her day by hydrating. “I always like to chug a bit of lemon water. I just made myself this special fresh juice situation – it’s carrots, celery, radish, ginger and turmeric,” she told British Vogue.
Kendall is all about self-care. “I have a lot of hacks and little things that I do. I do cold plunges – I did one earlier this morning and try to get in every day. Sometimes I miss a day because it’s hard to get myself there mentally, but do it as often as I can. It’s my thing right now,” she added.
“I’ve been hearing a lot from doctors and spiritual guides about connecting with nature and how we all lack [exposure to] it. I’ve been trying to get myself outside and have honestly felt a lot better by doing so,” Kendall told Vogue. “I was away for a little while this summer and [just immersed myself] in nature. I left my phone at home – that kind of thing – and walked around with my film camera, so it was really nice. I highly recommend that for anybody and everybody.”
“I like to switch it up. A physical therapist once told me that the best thing you can do for your body is to trick it, so it’s key to avoid getting into too much of a routine with your workouts. If you’re doing the same thing every morning, your body will start to get used to it, so you have to trick it by doing other things,” Kendall told Vogue about her approach to exercise. “Throughout the week, I’ll do a weights training class with my trainer, and then the next day I’ll go ride my horses, which is a pretty significant workout. And then the day after that, I’ll go and do Pilates. Then I’ll kind of just repeat and throw it all in within the week. It also keeps my brain less bored. I get up every morning and I’m like, “Okay, what physical activity am I doing today?” I like having a hobby inside of it all – I like to go boxing and things like that, it’s great to keep my brain involved.”
“I love self-help!” Kendall told Vogue when asked about books she reads. “Michael Singer is probably one of my favorites – The Untethered Soul and Surrender Experiment are two great ones. I don’t know if this is technically considered a self-help book, but I love Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss. I could re-read this book about 40 million times, I love it. What else? Cleo Wade has a really cute book called Heart Talk – it’s an easy read. It’s like poetry but also self-help, I really love it. I also love The Road Less Traveled, All About Love… I could literally go on.”
