The Jeopardy! episode that Ken was wrong in aired on December 26, according to the fan.

During Tuesday’s show, Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, Saturday Night Live alum Rachel Dratch, and WWE star Becky Lynch competed against each other for their respective charities.

Rachel, 59, started off strong, thriving in the Double Jeopardy! round.

She answered the majority of the clues in the Sad Song category correctly.

Rachel’s winning streak halted briefly after she was unable to answer the $600 clue she chose from the category Sad Songs.

“At the 2020 Grammys, Alicia Keys & this trio sang ‘It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday’ in a tribute to Kobe Bryant [following his passing that year],” was the clue that stumped Rachel and her competition.

Since neither she nor Macaulay and Becky were able to provide an answer, Ken solved it for them after they got the buzzer.

“It was their song originally,” Ken began.

OOPS MY BAD!

Ken’s response didn’t sit well with the aforementioned fan.

“@KenJennings A mistake on @CelebJeopardy December 26. #BoyzIIMen are not the original artists of ‘It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday,’ it’s G.C,” the fan wrote on X.

“Cameron who recorded it in 1975 for the Cooley High soundtrack. B2M covered it in 1991. They weren’t a group until 1985.”

Ken responded to the person’s tweet, taking accountability for the mix-up.

“It is a cover, you’re right! Just pointing out that the Kobe Bryant tribute was Boyz II Men doing a live version of their hit version of the song,” he replied back.

Although Ken had a slip-up, Rachel came out on top, winning $33,601 and a spot in Celebrity Jeopardy!’s Semifinals tournament.

Macaulay, 43, finished in second place with $33.6K, and Becky, 36, with $1K.

Macaulay and Becky were given $30K for the charities they were playing for, in addition to the money they already won.

HARDER THAN IT LOOKS

Now that Ken will be the sole host of Jeopardy!, his co-host Mayim Bialik, 48, was fired earlier this month, he could encounter more criticism without Mayim being there to focus on.

The Jeopardy! champ revealed on an episode of the game show that hosting Jeopardy! was harder than it looked.

“I mean Alex made the job look so easy that I think a lot of people assume hosting Jeopardy! Is no big deal the show kind of runs itself,” Ken honestly confessed.

“But that’s because he was so smooth and graceful at it, he made it look so easy. In fact it’s kind of difficult.”

Ken delved into the hardest part of hosting- Final Jeopardy – which he compared to “Suduko” as he’s given a cue card with all possible wagering outcomes during the last commercial break.

“I was particularly surprised by how hard [hosting] Final Jeopardy!

“Because they give me this card that has all these numbers on it.

‘Here’s what she had, here’s what she wagered, if she’s right it’s this if she’s wrong it’s this, if she wins here’s what it is added to yesterday,” he explained.

“It took me a while to be like ‘ahh why are they giving me this card with the world’s worst sudoku on it. But I’ve had a few months to get used to it and im a little smoother at it.”
