Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos joined forces on social media to give their eldest son Michael a special birthday shout-out.

On Sunday, June 2, the couple shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute to Michael for his 27th birthday. The post featured a nostalgic reel showcasing Michael through the years, accompanied by Curtis Mayfield’s “Move on Up.”

The reel features photos and videos of Michael reaching significant milestones, from crawling and walking as a baby to trick-or-treating as a young boy. It also includes footage from his past birthdays.

“Happy 27th birthday to the founding member of our family @Michael.Consuelos 🎉. You got the ball rolling baby and we love you!” Ripa wrote alongside the post.

The Live with Kelly and Mark co-hosts welcomed their first child, Michael, in 1997. He is the eldest sibling to his sister, Lola, 22, and brother, Joaquin, 21.

Unsurprisingly, Michael is following Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos into show business. To date Michael, he has had acting roles on shows such as CW’s Riverdale and Lifetime movies like 2022’s Let’s Get Physical.

Meanwhile, Michael’s also paying his dues behind the scenes. According to IMDb, he’s worked as a production assistant on shows like The Goldbergs as well as various reality TV series for Bravo.

Bravo Host Andy Cohen confirmed that Michael worked on the crew of various reality TV productions last year while filling in for Kelly on Live with Kelly and Mark.

“The Bravo shows are huge in our house,” Mark told Andy at the time. “We started watching The Real Housewives of Miami, which is blowing my mind. And you know, Michael is working on all.”

“I know it’s crazy,” Andy replied. “So Michael Consuelos is now working… he worked on [The Real Housewives of New Jersey], he worked on this new season of The Real Housewives of New York City.”

Andy Cohen has been friends with Kelly and Mark for a long time. The Bravo host mentioned that he has known Michael since childhood and fondly remembered his first encounter with the New York University alum.

“The first words he said were, ‘Can I hug your Snoopy?’” Andy recalled. “I mean, this is a kid we love.”
