LIVE With Kelly and Mark has changed the format of their morning show.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos had their last show of the year before going on a hiatus for Christmas break.
On Friday, Live started off with a skit of the hosts as kids.
Child actors pretended to be Kelly, 53, Mark, 52, and the show’s producers and DJ.
However, when the clip ended, the show’s opening credits did not play.
Instead, the hosts appeared on a long white couch as they woke up from the “dream sequence clip.”

Usually, Kelly and Mark walk out from behind the stage and then sit in the high chairs at their desk.
But, during this whole show, they sat on the couch.
When they weren’t on the couch, they stood up or sat at a big table to eat and talk about memories with their children and producers.
DIFFERENT FORMAT
Also, when Kelly and Mark take their seats at the desk, they usually talk about what is happening in their life or about something they read in an article.

But they didn’t do that on Friday or play their game, Stump Mark, or welcome any celebrity guests to the show.
On Friday’s show, the couple instead aired throwback clips of them and their children throughout the years.
Kelly and Mark then showed clips of their staff’s family throughout the years, and then everyone grown up.
Two of their children — Lola and Michael — appeared on the show, as well as their producer Michael Gelman’s family.
The talk show hosted a wrapping challenge among the families where they had to wrap the gifts in front of them the quickest.
In the end, they all sat around a big table and reminisced on their favorite memories of the talk show.
None of the show’s regular format happened on the most recent show.
The most recent episode was also pre-recorded.
LIVIN’ IT UP
Kelly revealed that she almost didn’t show up to the talk show on Wednesday.
She said that she and Mark recently had a family dinner with their three children.
As well as their “fourth child Andy Cohen,” Mark joked.
Kelly went on to say that whenever Andy, 55, is at their house, it confuses her.
“Our show is getting ready to go on our winter hiatus…we get a few days off for winter,” the host said.
However, Kelly confessed on Thursday that she thought Live’s break “started yesterday.”
Mark asked his wife at what point did she realize it didn’t.
Kelly said “around 11:30 at night,” but insisted that “wasn’t the point.”
She explained that Andy coming over for dinner signaled to her that they were already on vacation.
