Kelly Hughes is heating up the internet with her latest swimsuit video. In a new post, the model shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit on the beach, while sharing an inspirational message of gratitude with her followers. “Nothing more iconic then lifting up woman , mothers , entrepreneurs and your community,” she captioned the post. “You are beautiful inside and out!” commented one of her followers. “You are iconic queen!!!” added another. How does she approach health and wellness? Celebwell rounded up her top health habits.Â
“I love athlete training or HIIT exercises,” Kelly told Women Fitness about her approach to exercise. “I definitely love high energy classes for my workouts.” There is lots of research backing up the benefits of HIIT workouts, including body fat reduction, improved cardiovascular function, and mental health. It is also time effective.
Kelly also enjoys Pilates. “I do mega former machine Pilates sometimes as well because it’s so great for lengthening and leaning but I definitely love high energy classes for my workouts,” she added. Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body’s inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.
Before Kelly gave birth to her son she “was a very healthy eater, primarily vegetarian and worked out about 4 days a week,” she told Women Fitness. “Now I struggle a bit more because of my busy lifestyle. I have days where I eat healthy and get a workout in and other day’s I see what my son is eating and steal some French fries, or I end up eating pizza. I have been trying to ‘diet’ since my son was born to lose the baby weight but I’m not very successful with diet and I am now trying to eliminate the obvious things that aren’t good for you and just stick to a healthy lifestyle and give myself grace in the process and accept my body no matter what.”
Kelly revealed to Women Fitness that “sushi, pizza, pasta, rice, cake,” are her favorite foods. She tries to keep to a minimum pizza, cookies, pasta, bread, and rice.
Kelly is a big fan of Celsius energy drinks, especially on “those days” she only gets four hours of sleep and works nine. “Some days you just get it right 😂 lets celebrate those wins,” she captioned a post.Â
