Kelly Clarkson Spent Her Entire Summer In Montana
“It’s obviously been a rough couple years so it was really important to me to, like, shut down for a minute,” she explained. “I literally four-wheeled in the mountains, and I have a lot of water on my property so my sister, my nephew and I, and a couple friends just spent the whole summer in the mountains, just hanging out in nature.”

Clarkson noted that her ex, Brandon Blackstock, joined them for some adventures in Montana.

In addition to getting her divorce finalized, Clarkson also changed her legal name.
She officially changed her name to “Kelly Brianne.”
2022 Brought A Divorce & Name Change For Kelly Clarkson
In legal documents obtained by The Blast, the ‘Voice’ coach’s desire to legally change her name to “Kelly Brianne” has been granted!
The singer’s full legal name is Kelly Brianne Clarkson, but it has been legally changed to just Kelly Brianne. It became official in a Superior Court of California on March 28th.
The legal document also states, “The court adopts its tentative ruling as the Order of the Court as follows: There being no objections, the petition for change of name is granted. The Decree is signed and filed. The Petitioner’s name is changed from Kelly Brianne Clarkson to Kelly Brianne.”
When filing to legally change her name, Clarkson had to give a reason for the name change.
In previous court documents obtained by us, she wrote, “My new name more fully reflects who I am.”
The form was initially filed on February 14th – Valentine’s Day – so it looks like Kelly wants to spend the new year focusing on some self-love.
“I’m not concerned about it,” the singer said. “My life gets exponentially better each year. Which is what should happen, you should get wiser.”
She continued, “I’m really excited. Everything’s in a good place now.”
