Kelis’ Milkshake is bringing all the boys to Zanzibar. In a new social media post the mother-of-three flaunts her beautiful body in a bathing suit while enjoying Africa. “Zanzibar ❤️ #africa #eastafrica #island #beach #ocean #beautiful,” she captioned the Instagram post. “You are one amazing beautiful woman,” commented one of her followers. “Whew 😍 you’re gonna break the internet!” added another. How does the Milkshake and Bossy singer approach diet and fitness? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle habits.
Kelis gets her workout done first thing in the morning. “It’s really important for me to move my body in some way to start the day,” Kelis told Us Weekly. She revealed that she hits the gym at 8:00 a.m. doing a “high-energy” workout. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.
Kelis is a professionally trained chef, and spends a lot of time cooking healthy meals for her family. “Cooking every day keeps me grounded, I find inspiration in food, so I like to try and incorporate it into my daily routine,” she told Us.
Kelis loves coffee, but you won’t find her drinking a traditional latte from Starbucks. Her coffee recipe involves frothed raw milk. “I hate unfrothed milk in my coffee. I don’t ever want unfrothed,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. She also might add ginger, cayenne, and/or cacao.
Kelis is a big fan of egg dishes and regularly whips up frittatas, eggs and chorizo, and hard-boiled eggs with smoked habanero salt and hot sauce. “We live on a farm, so we have a ridiculous amount of eggs all the time,” she told Harper’s. “So I’m always like, ‘What can I add eggs to?'”
While milkshakes aren’t a regular part of her diet, you might find the singer drinking protein shakes. She even sells her own on her website Bountyandfull. “You won’t find a better meal replacement / protein ❤️ keep your waist snatched, and your hair and skin looking good as well, I use all organic, all natural ingredients, mix it in your favorite drink, make smoothies or shakes,” she says in an Instagram video.
