The news of Jabbar’s death came Tuesday in a live stream on YouTube by Marcella Speaks, TMZ reported.

Speaks read a statement provided by Jabbar’s family.  

“She was a mom, a sister, a great friend, full of life, love, and laughter. She will sorely be missed,” Speaks said.

Jabbar’s cousin and Love & Marriage: Huntsville costar LaTisha Moore Scott posted a statement on her Instagram account about grieving, though she did not directly acknowledge the death.

“At the time we are asking for RESPECT, and PRIVACY in our moment of grief, while we process this great loss!” she said on social media.

“This is hard for our family!!!!!”

The cousins were seen sparring on recent seasons of the reality show, which airs on OWN.

Jabbar also faced drug accusations on the show’s most recent season and was confronted by a producer, according to Deadline.

“I’ve never taken any kind of hard drug,” Jabbar said show’s reunion following a confrontation with Carlos King.

“I’ve never taken anything, heroin, cocaine, crack… I’ve never taken anything like that.”

Jabbar was noticeably absent from social media during the past month.

The last time she posted on Instagram was on May 26.

She was outside with her friends and wished her followers a happy Memorial Day.

Jabbar also mentioned in the video she was working on a swim wig and was seen trying one out.

“I can’t wait ’til I can introduce y’all,” she said while speaking of the product.

She then jumped into the pool and went underwater to show how the swim wig worked, noting that she came up with the idea years ago.

Love & Marriage: Huntsville is a reality TV series that follows the lives of three high-powered African American couples in Huntsville, Alabama.

The show focuses on their personal and professional lives as they navigate relationships, business ventures, and community.

There have been eight seasons of the series since it started in 2019.

Jabbar – a writer, editor, author, professor, and public speaker – was a recurring cast member recognized for her strong personality.

The reality TV star’s last post on Instagram was flooded with messages from fans who were sad over her death.

“Noooooo…. LORD wrap your arms around her Husband and Children.. they have gone through so much,” one user wrote.

“Rip KeKe! I’m so thankful I was never mean to you and always wanted to see you win. I have our conversations in my inbox. You were always so kind. Go take your crown and rest,” another wrote.

“Prayers that you and Tisha find your way back to each other,” someone commented.

“Wow… R.I.P., Keke. You were a real one, honey. Fly high,” another wrote.
