“Bad Moms” actress Kathryn Hahn recently commended Elizabeth Olsen for her guidance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and patience during her extended pee breaks. Hahn joined the MCU in 2021 as Agatha Harkness in “WandaVision.”

Actors usually have to get used to several things in the MCU vastly different from their time shooting non-superhero movies. Besides the fact that most main characters are clad in complex costumes, most times, actors were expected to give an awe-inspiring performance in scenes vastly different from the result depicted on screens.

According to Hahn, Olsen was there for her through those moments and showed her how to handle the experience. The actress also revealed that Olsen was remarkably patient with her when she had to take extended breaks to relieve herself.

Moving from shooting regular movies into the MCU is not an easy fast for anyone; however, according to Hahn, Olsen helped her through it. The actress attended the Variety‘s Power of Women event, which took place in Los Angeles, and shared some moments with the Marvel actress on set.

While introducing Olsen as a Lifetime honoree in the event, Hahn described her as “very patient,” especially when faced with her co-star’s frequent long breaks to relieve herself. The comedian explained that her outfit was so detailed that getting out of it took a lot of effort.

“She was very patient with me as it took me like a solid 40 minutes to 10-one, which… is to urinate in the movie business.” The 49-year-old added, “I have a lot of costume on and a very small bladder.”

The actress also explained to Variety that the 33-year-old showed her the ropes while on set and helped her adapt to the MCU’s style of filming.

“First of all, she was my intro into this Marvel family,” Hahn said. “And she very generously walked me through blasts and wires and stunts and finding truth on an X on a green screen. I was used to talking to other people.”

“She was so patient with all of my questions. Who is Ultron? What is that glove with all the gems on it?” the “Mrs. Fletcher” actress said. Hahn further revealed that the duo was together during the show’s finale with their “dirty minivan” and “dirty Prius.” “And she was like, ‘This is not “The Avengers,” ‘which I think really delighted her.”

Further in the speech, Hahn spoke on her and Olsen’s relationship, including gift giving and recording a “perfectly strange and hilarious and singular” song together. The 49-year-old went on to talk about how Olsen seemed to have a “grace” about her and how she handled situations.

“I was blown away by the way this woman was able to self-regulate with such focus and clarity and connectedness to herself for months and months and months. Anchored in composure every day under such pressure. I never saw it slip.”

The “We’re the Millers” actress said that she thought Olsen was the embodiment of “P.A.U.S.E.: Postpone Action Unless Serenity Emerges” and that she weighed her options before making a decision.

Hahn said, “She will not press send. She will not rush to judge. She weighs and holds both sides. She doesn’t talk sh*t. She listens. She just holds steady in her own space.”

Kathryn Hahn In ‘WandaVision’

Hahn’s first foray into the MCU was in “WandaVision” as the evil witch, Agatha. The character is the show’s villain and manipulates Olsen’s character, Wanda Maximoff, in an attempt to acquire the Scarlet Witch’s power.

The series follows Wanda through the grief and trauma that is her life and has the setting of many famous sitcoms like “Malcolm in the Middle,” “I Love Lucy” and “The Brady Bunch.”

“WandaVision” had roots in the MCU backstory of Olsen’s character, Wanda, as well as her time with Hydra and her history with Vision, played by Paul Bettany. The character’s death at the hands of Thanos (Josh Brolin) in “Avengers: Infinity War” was also a key factor. The series was the first MCU show to be released on Disney+ and made way for a number of others.
