Kate Middleton Allegedly ‘Pushing For Forgiveness’ For Prince Harry

The Princess of Wales and the Duke of Sussex fell out after he and his wife, Meghan Markle, quit their roles as working royals and made scathing allegations against the royal family.

Insiders now claim Kate Middleton, who is battling cancer, is willing to take a “risk” and forgive Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as the pair seek to hold peace talks with the royal family.

According to Radar Online, the Princess of Wales is prepared to heal the rift between her and Harry after years of his ostracization from the royal family.

Insiders claim she’s “worried sick” about the frozen-out royal and believes he’s “emotionally broken” as she seeks to convince her husband, Prince William, to join her in making peace with the duke.

“Kate is worried sick about Harry and willing to risk the wrath of her husband and the Firm to do what she believes is the right thing,” a royal source shared. “She [is] pushing for forgiveness and worries the royals are being too harsh.”

Kate used to be very close with Harry before his marriage to Meghan in 2018. The two of them were known as the fun-loving duo who shared the same sense of humor and tagged along to watch games and enjoy outings with William and the kids.

It turns out that the mother-of-three hasn’t heard much about the situation of things with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the wake of her cancer diagnosis.

According to Radar Online, a palace source disclosed that the future queen was shielded from news about Harry’s strained ties with the royal family as she continued to recover from cancer.

“Kate has been shielded from the increasing drama with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for quite a while now because people just don’t want to stress her out as she deals with her health,” the insider shared. “But she doesn’t want to be out of the loop anymore.”

The source added that despite the palace’s effort to keep her out of the situation, Kate seemingly read about it and has become “very concerned” over what she’s learned. The source added that she “looks at Harry, and she sees a lost soul.”

“She’s still incredibly fond of him and saddened that it’s come to this situation where he’s completely cut himself off from the whole family and there now seems to be this wall that can’t be broken down,” they noted.

Harry and William have not been on speaking terms for years now after he disparaged the Prince of Wales in his 2023 blockbuster memoir “Spare.”

However, Kate’s stance contradicts William’s position, who has distanced himself from his younger brother in recent years and has even allegedly “banned” him from attending his coronation ceremony.

The source explained, “Kate realizes Harry made some poor choices, but he’s still a part of this family and needs them now more than ever.”

They continued, “It’s something she really wants William to try and fix, but he’s refusing and is adamant traitor Harry deserves no mercy, that anything they do will just be manipulated by him and Meghan. In William’s view, the best course is to keep quiet, keep away from them and get on with their lives.”

Kate is allegedly bent on sheathing her swords with Harry, so much so that she is ready to defy William and push for reconciliation if the future king doesn’t change his stand.

“As far as she’s concerned, life’s too short for grudges. She’s pushing William to give peace a chance with his brother and stop this ugly feud and that’s not going down well with him at all,” the source claimed.

They added, “If William doesn’t get on board and make things right, Kate’s determined to make the first move and defy her husband to make peace. Enough is enough.”

According to a new report from The Express, King Charles discussed Harry and Meghan while hosting a gathering of his closest family members at Balmoral Castle.

During the gathering, Charles reportedly outlined the future of the Sussex in relation to the royal family, and sources in the palace claim The Firm now intends to shift its focus to the next generation of royals.

An insider said, “The strategy now is to move away from focusing on what the Sussexes are doing and place an emphasis on the next generation of royals. There is very much a feeling of not dwelling on the past but moving forward with the assets they’ve got which are the younger members of the royal family.”

They added, “King Charles is very aware that the younger generation is the future of the monarchy and his focus is to ensure that its legacy remains once he has gone — and that can be secured in the Wales era.”
