Hudson opened up about her approach to wellness to Bustle. “I’m a real believer in ‘everything in moderation,'” she said. Hudson explained that this philosophy is for both her diet and her exercise. “It’s important to be motivated and stay as healthy as you can, but sometimes you just need to take a deep breath and have a day where you watch television and do nothing.”
One of Hudson’s favorite wellness products is tea. “I drink a lot of green and herbal teas with dandelion root, which we actually have in our products,” she tells Bustle. “It’s great for water retention.”
When it comes to wellness, Hudson believes in mixing things up. She tells Bustle, “I’m an Aries. I’m not routine-oriented. I’m always ready to create something new, try something new — it’s a lot of fire.”
Hudson tells Bustle that reducing stress is a big part of her wellness. “When we’re feeling happier, our immune system is stronger,” she explains. “When we experience fear or stress, our immune system starts to dip down. I don’t think these things should ever be overlooked.”
Hudson has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it each day. “At night is when I really do a deep cleanse of my face,” she says to Byrdie. “I usually use an oil or gel-based cleanser, followed by light exfoliation. I try to pay attention to how my skin reacts to the weather and switch up my serums and creams accordingly. And the mornings are really simple. I really don’t do anything other than wash with water and a cloth, moisturize according to how my skin is feeling, and use sunscreen whenever needed.”
