Rapper Kanye West‘s wife, Bianca Censori, is reportedly the reason behind his apology to the Jewish community, which he penned in Hebrew.

Reports claim Censori got tired of “babysitting” West and put her foot down about his anti-Semitic behavior, which she feared had put “them in danger.”

The duo, who got married in December last year, has been at the center of several controversies this year, with previous reports alleging that Censori was being controlled by West.

Contrary to the rumors, Censori seems to have a say in her relationship with West, as she was allegedly the reason behind his latest apology to the Jewish community.

On December 26, West shocked his fans after sharing a message in Hebrew, apologizing for his past anti-Semitic comments. While the message seemed genuine, many were stunned as it felt out of character for the rapper to apologize for his wrongdoings.

According to the Daily Mail, Censori had gotten tired of condoning his “outbursts” and felt the need to “lay the smackdown” on her husband and force him to apologize.

Insiders told the news outlet that “Bianca was tired of having to babysit Kanye… She told him that his recent behavior was unacceptable and that he needs to apologize because he was putting them in danger and setting a horrible example for his children.”

“Bianca is really sick of his attention-seeking and she knows that this is not who he truly is, but it is making her look like she is anti-Semitic which is so far from the truth. She has many Jewish friends who she loves dearly and he knows this,” the source added.

The source told the news outlet that the pair’s relationship had been strained because of West’s behavior, which is “very upsetting” to Censori.

“It is very upsetting to Bianca, and he does it anyway. He just waits until she is gone. By the time that she finds out what he’s done and said, it is too late,” the source claimed.

The insider added: “And now it’s at the point where she is starting to fear for her safety – not because of Kanye hurting her or anything like that. It is more like she fears that a Jewish extremist could potentially do something to hurt both of them.”

Censori being the reason behind West’s apology would shock many, as previous reports claimed that she had no say in their relationship and was under the rapper’s control.

The rapper shared the apology, penned in Hebrew, on his Instagram page, noting that he was sorry for his past actions and never intended to “hurt” or “demean.”

West wrote, “I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any ‘unintended outburst.’ I did not intend to hurt or demean, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused.”

“I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”

West’s apology had a mixed reception, with many claiming that he was not being genuine and only did it TO ensure the success of his soon-to-be-released studio album, “Vultures.”

Jewish organization, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), who criticized him in the past for a vulgar song that included lyrics about sleeping with a “Jewish b—-,” seemed to accept his apology, noting that it was a step in the right direction.

The ADL said on X, formerly known as Twitter: “After causing untold damage by using his vast influence and platform to poison countless minds with vicious antisemitism and hate, an apology in Hebrew may be the first step on a long journey towards making amends to the Jewish community and all those who he has hurt. Ultimately, actions will speak louder than words but this initial act of contrition is welcome.”
