Rapper Kanye West has been banned on Twitch just seven minutes into his first stream on the Amazon-owned platform.
Throughout 2025, Kanye ‘Ye’ West has been all over the internet and other people’s streams on both Twitch and Kick.
He has interacted with some of the internet’s biggest names as well, including Kai Cenat, Adin Ross, and Amouranth.
It wasn’t until April 25 that he made his own account on the Amazon-owned platform, and viewers were left shocked when the rapper was banned from Twitch just minutes into his first stream.
Ye banned on Twitch almost immediately
The rapper went live in the early morning of April 25, and his broadcast lasted just seven minutes until Twitch brought it down.
It wasn’t without success, however, as he quickly gained almost 3,000 followers and averaged over half of that in viewership during his short stream.
You’re met with the site’s generic ban message when you click on the link he posted on his X account.
“This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service,” it reads.
West hasn’t commented on his ban at the time of writing, so the exact reason behind the suspension is still unknown.
Back in January 2025, Kai Cenat revealed a plan to stream with Kanye West while visiting Japan, but was worried it was a prank at the time. The broadcast never happened, however, and Cenat eventually removed himself from West entirely after the latter made offensive comments online.
Kick star Adin Ross stepped up to the plate after Kai cancelled on West, but that stream hasn’t happened at the time of writing, either.
Ye hasn’t forgotten about Kai Cenat, however, as the rapper called out the Twitch star on April 24 with claims that he stole his prison stream idea from a past Donda broadcast.
