TIME has released its list of the 100 most influential content creators of 2025, with Kai Cenat taking first place alongside other titans like Khaby Lame, Livvy Dunne, MrBeast and more.
It’s safe to say that influencers are edging into the A-List celebrity space. Names like Kai Cenat, in particular, have increasingly found themselves rubbing elbows with Hollywood’s elite, even hosting awards shows and premiering new songs from major music artists on their streams.
With this in mind, TIME has ranked its list of the year’s top content creators, including Twitch streamers, TikTok stars, Instagram personalities and, of course, YouTubers.
Kai Cenat takes 1st place in TIME’s top 100 creators list
Somewhat unsurprisingly, Kai Cenat sits at the top of TIME’s list. With over 18 million avid viewers on Twitch, Kai has taken over headlines throughout the last year, most famously holding his viral ‘Streamer University’ that featured a graduation speech from none other than Drake.
“We’re showing people that if you be yourself, people are going to f**k with you,” Cenat told TIME. “As a streamer, you’re not in a box. You’re not trapped. You can talk however you want.”
Kai Cenat is one of the most popular streamers on the net, regularly hanging out with celebrities like Kevin Hart and even hosting award shows.
Kai has cemented himself as the celebrity plug of the streamer space, breaking records with actors like Kevin Hart, WWE legend John Cena, and even rap star Nicki Minaj.
TikTok juggernaut Alix Earle comes in at second place, best known for her relatable ‘get ready with me’ videos where she regales viewers with humorous stories from her everyday life. Hailed as the internet’s new ‘It Girl,’ Earle has racked up over 7M TikTok followers and 4M on Instagram.
Hot Ones host Sean Evans weighs in at third place, while TikTok’s most-followed creator, Khaby Lame, sits in fourth. Khaby famously became the king of TikTok in summer 2022, overtaking Charli D’Amelio and maintaining his throne ever since.

Khaby Lame has been TikTok’s most-followed creator since summer 2022.
Gymnast Livvy Dunne takes fifth place. Her athletic exploits are highlighted by her jaw-dropping following on social media; in fact, she’s so popular that she can’t even attend her college classes in-person and has urged fans to keep it cool during her gymnastics competitions.
Somewhat unexpectedly, Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson comes in at sixth. Donaldson has cemented himself as one of the net’s biggest stars ever since he became YouTube’s most-subscribed creator, getting ‘revenge’ for PewDiePie by dethroning T-Series in 2024.

MrBeast is YouTube’s most-subscribed content creator and even hosts his own game show on Amazon Prime.
Donaldson’s videos almost always top YouTube’s Trending page and are a consistent conversation across social media each time he uploads. On top of his massive, big-budget uploads, he’s also got his own charity and is currently focused on ending child labor on Africa’s chocolate farms as part of his Feastables chocolate bar brand initiative.
