Twitch star Kai Cenat has hit back at Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s claims that his friends, Rakai and Reggie, have been viewbotting. However, xQc isn’t backing down.
Viewbotting – using fake viewers to boost your viewership and follower count – has been happening on Twitch for a while. Some trolls use it to land streamers in trouble, while other streamers just want to try and boost themselves anyway.
On April 9, xQc accused Kai Cenat’s friends, Rakai and Reggie, of viewbotting to improve their own standings. The Twitch and KICK star pointed to them going from 800 viewers to 30,000 viewers overnight, as well as having less than 20% chat activity.
“I don’t give a f*ck, they’re all viewbotters, I don’t care. From a 1K Andy to 20k overnight, like bro, I’ve been here before, I’m not stupid, they’re botted out the wazoo. I’d be open to the conversation that it is their agency doing it,” he said.
Kai responds to xQc’s viewbotting claims
The streaming star wouldn’t tie Kai into that, saying the AMP member “has been really legit on all fronts,” but now Kai has clapped back at xQc in defense of his friends.
“If it was directly about me, I would take the high road, but I’m tired of doing that s**t.
“From the outside perspective, Felix, this is not no diss or nothing, it just look like you’re d*ck eating and it’s weird,” he said. “Then you say you’re joking, but what is it? I got no hate towards xQc, I just want to be able to check people when they mess up.
“I ain’t gon lie, I can ask Reggie, do you know who xQc is? He don’t even know bro. He wouldn’t even know.”
xQc doubles down on viewbotting claims
The former Overwatch star responded to Kai, noting that he could “save himself” from the drama, but he wanted to double down on his claims.
“Bro, I’m doubling down, I have to. I swear on everything, with what I know and things that I look at and analyze, I’m not just saying it, I truly believe it,” he said.
“Whether it is them, a viewer, a mod, an agency, or whether its some Bulgarian basement dweller bot maneuverer, somebody is doing something that is tampering, it doesn’t matter.”
As some fans have pointed out, Kai has boosted both with raids and telling his viewers to support both streamers.
Viewbotting is something xQc has been hot on recently, calling QueenGloriaRP’s stunt of using a viewbotter “harmful.”
