Kacy Hill is accusing her ex-boyfriend Jim-E Stack of breaking up with her while working with Lorde on the Virgin album, and then dating the singer.
The 31-year-old singer took to her TikTok page and made a video of herself clapping while Lorde‘s song “Man of the Year” played in the background.
“Let’s hear if for the man who ended a 6.5 year relationship while making a girl’s album then started dating her,” Kacy captioned the video.
Kacy added, “getting out of that was the biggest blessing of my life but also u guys teed this one up for me too well not to do this. 🙏 thank gawwwwd ill never accept crumbs from a man ever again #manoftheyear #relationships.”
Kacy didn’t name her ex or the singer, but by using Lorde‘s song, it’s clear she’s talking about her ex Jim-E, who co-wrote and produced it.
Someone commented, “A persons feeling can’t change? Move on, don’t live in the past.” Kacy made a second video to respond.

Kacy said, “I’m not dense. I know relationships don’t always work and that one certainly was not working and I am grateful for it now. But, we also have to have a little chuckle, a little laugh about the things that happen to us sometimes. I’m in a wonderful, loving relationship now and that’s great.”
Kacy added, “Also, genuinely had no idea that album was coming out today. I have muted a lot of words and really try to not have Instagram and TikTok on my phone all the time. And muted a lot of accounts and words so I didn’t see their faces every time I opened my phone because it made me not feel great. So I had no idea that was coming out today. Oops.”
