KACEY Musgraves has revealed she recently received medical attention after a horrific fall due to weather conditions, with the star even forced to postpone an upcoming performance.
“RESCHEDULING NOT CANCELLING,” the 36-year-old Butterfly songstress said in the message shared on social media as she revealed her horrific injury to fans.

“Sooo, I’m in Mexico with a f**king broken rib,” she revealed in the lengthy post shared on social media over the top of an X-ray of her torso.
Kacey revealed how it was raining on Wednesday night and she ran to grab some towels before having an “extremely hard fall” on some slick tile she didn’t see.
“Thankful I didn’t smack my head,” she wrote.
“But I landed very very hard on my back left ribcage and broke rib number six.

“This sh*t is no joke. I’m in a lot of pain and doing ANYTHING is extremely difficult but I’m managing and being well taken care of,” she added.
Revealing the news of her rescheduled performance, Kacey gave fans an update.
“There is no physical way I can get on a plane and fly back to Nashville for the Sing for Science event,” she revealed.
‘I AM EXTREMELY BUMMED’
The event would have seen Kacey sing some of her greatest hits at the Ryman this coming Sunday.
“I am extremely bummed to have to reschedule as I have been looking forward to this for months, but there is literally no other option,” Kacey told fans.
“I am so sorry for the inconvenience.”
Kacey then revealed that the new date for the event would be September 18.
She explained how tickets for Sunday’s event would be valid, and if anyone cannot make it, they have 30 days to get a refund.
Kacey’s fans quickly responded to her statement and rescheduled performance.
“Sending you all our love for a safe and speedy recovery,” said one fan account on X.
“Your health is most important. Get better soon,” penned another.
“girl i can’t believe this happened to you,” added a third.
UPCOMING SHOWS THIS SUMMER
Kacey has several more performances in the pipeline, with her due back on stage on July 5.

The Breadwinner hitmaker is scheduled to perform at Zootown Festival in July, and at even more events in August.
Kacey is slated to sing at the Hinterland Music Festival on August 2, and the Up In The Sky Music Festival on August 9.
She also has more performances scheduled for September and October.
