Actor Jonathan Majors of Lovecraft Country and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania fame now finds himself the subject of a lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

Majors, who was fired by Marvel after being arrested after being found guilty of third-degree assault and harassment, is being sued for battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, malicious prosecution, and defamation.

Majors claimed to Good Morning America after his conviction that he has no idea how his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari received the injuries she received in the incident which led to his arrest.

Following the interview with Good Morning America, Grace Jabbari’s attorney said Majors “continues to take no accountability for his actions.”

This newly filed lawsuit will apparently try to force him to take accountability.

“Now that Majors can no longer physically abuse Grace, he has resorted to very publicly abusing her reputation,” the lawsuit, obtained by RadarOnline.com, stated.

“Following his arrest, Majors immediately implemented an extensive media campaign smearing Grace, claiming that he was ‘completely innocent,’ ‘is provably the victim,’ that he ‘did not assault her whatsoever,’ and that ‘this woman was having an emotional crisis, for which she was taken to a hospital.’”

The lawsuit also alleges there were previous incidents in which Jonathan Majors began showing “concerning behavior” as early as 2021.

It also claims that Majors “physically attacked” Jabbari in July 2022 and Sept. 2022, in addition to the incident that led to his arrest and subsequent conviction.

TMZ reports that Grace Jabbari also claims in the lawsuit that Majors threw her into a shower wall and proceeded to throw objects, like candles and other items at her.

She also alleges that there were numerous other assaults in which Majors would smash her headphones and sometimes her head, including one instance when he slammed her head against a marble floor. She also claims he allegedly strangled her.

Jabbari is suing Majors for defamation over his claims that she lied about the abuse in interviews.

Jonathan Major’s attorney told TMZ, regarding the lawsuit, “This is no surprise. Mr. Majors is preparing counterclaims against Ms. Jabbari.”

Majors is currently awaiting sentencing and has filed an appeal of his conviction.
