Dating reality series Farmer Wants a Wife is currently airing and the reality series saw a jaw dropping moment when Samantha Reihl rejected the kiss of John Sansone during an episode. The awkward moment was followed by a beautiful explanation from her, winning the hearts of fans watching it.

During a conversation with In Touch Weekly (Via Dailymotion), John revealed that his brain stopped working when the moment took place. “I pretty much blacked out when that happened. Then I was obviously a little thrown off and obviously a little angry because I felt somewhat humiliated,” the farmer revealed.
“Especially because you’ve got an entire cast of people just surrounding you and staring at you with their mouths open,” he said, explaining the set up when the scene was filmed. Regardless, after a while he “came back to reality” and “respected” her decision to not kiss onscreen. Now that he has had time to reflect on it, his thoughts are different and he finds it “hilarious.”
During the scene, John and Samantha were talking about their preferences and she revealed that she enjoys a stable, secure relationship where she does not have to feel threatened and there’s plenty of devotion and loyalty. Later, when John was about to kiss her, Samantha stopped him from doing so, shocking him since who was not expecting her to react that way on air.
“I cannot kiss you on camera. There’s a reason for that. I’m going to marry someone someday – it might be you, it might not be you,” she stated and then commented, “I do not want something of me kissing another man on television. If it’s you, then we don’t have anything to worry about.”
He was visibly surprised and said that he thought was going a different way but Samantha made it clear that her morals are important to her. She felt, “Those are my values and that’s what I believe, and I don’t want that of me on the internet anywhere because I want my husband to have more than that.” They later hugged and she expressed her decision in a confessional.
Samantha concluded, “I think romance and intimacy is something that you can’t rush, it takes time. That’s just a boundary that I have and I will not be crossing it.” Fans were quick to praise her for her backbone and clarity.
