JOHN Goodman has made an appearance in New York City while showing off his major weight loss.
John, 71, is the star of the ABC sitcom The Conners after appearing in the show Roseanne.
He was spotted with his wife Anna Beth at JFK airport on Tuesday after arriving in NYC.
The actor was wearing a baggy dark blue sweater with a green jacket over the top.
On the bottom, he wore a pair of oversized khaki pants and tan slip-on shoes.
He didn’t look happy to be at the airport as his hair appeared to be matted down on his head.
John also carried a brown leather bag over his shoulder while Anna rolled a pink piece of luggage.
On Wednesday, he was seen again in Midtown wearing the same green jacket.
It also appeared that he was wearing the same blue sweater underneath.
However, he did change his pants, and he was rocking a pair of basic blue jeans.
He signed autographs while showing off his incredible 200-pound weight loss.
Before his transformation, John weighed about 400 pounds, but now he’s down to 200.
WEIGHED DOWN
In 2021, John made one of his first appearances after his weight loss at the premiere of the animated show The Freak Brothers on Tubi.
He started to overhaul his lifestyle in 2017, and that’s when he started dropping weight.
Although his weight fluctuated for years, he seems to have finally found the trick to stabilizing it.
When he started his weight loss journey, he spoke to ABC News about his new approach.
He admitted that he used to lose 60 or 70 pounds in three months and then revert to his old habits.
When he started losing weight in 2017, he decided to do it slowly and focus on exercising.
He also adopted a Mediterranean diet that focused on fish, olive oil, fruit, vegetables, and nuts.
Plus, the actor decided to hire a personal trainer while walking 10,000 steps a day.
He has also been sober since 2007 which seemed to be the start of his healthy lifestyle.
Since the weight loss, he’s been practically unrecognizable from his original Roseanne character.
