The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon hosted TikTok sensations A.J., Big Justice, and The Rizzler — a.k.a “The Costco Guys” — on the show earlier this week and the moment has been going viral on social media due to Fallon’s apparent annoyance.

A video of Jimmy Fallon interacting with the Costco Guys asking the question “Why does Fallon look so annoyed here?” has almost 6 million views on X, formerly Twitter, at the time of this writing.

The video is a simple five-second clip of the eldest Costco Guy—A.J. Befumo—yelling, “We bring the boom!” to the audience. This prompts Fallon to snap back, “Alright, yes!” as his face turns into a grimace.

“Watching Fallon let the mask slip every now and then is the funniest shit ever I need to see this man become the joker,” one person posted.

“I want to hire one of those body language analysis people to study Fallon in this whole appearance. All I get from Fallon here is seeping contempt. He just talks over these guys and ignores them constantly. It’s even funnier because you can tell The Roots like them more,” one social media user observed.

“Rightfully, almost no one on here watches The Tonight Show so they don’t know that’s just how Fallon is and has been for the last 5 years or so. He appears to be the most miserable man in existence,” added another.

Since they achieved viral fame earlier this year with their bizarre hyper-consumerism brand of family-oriented content, Befumo and his family have racked up over 2 million followers on TikTok and have broken through to the mainstream enough to be featured on late-night TV.
