JILL Duggar has spoken out following her sister’s wedding to answer a major question about her lack of a role in the ceremony.
She posted a recap video reel on Instagram showing clips and pictures from her sister Jana Duggar‘s wedding celebration and it took no time for fans to ask why she wasn’t in the wedding party.
A user simply asked Jill: “Why weren’t you a bridesmaid?”
“No hate,” they added in the post comment.
“Just genuinely curious.”
“I don’t know,” Jill said in response to the question.
“But it should always be the bride’s decision.”
Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, were guests at Jana’s wedding but were not a part of the wedding party.
The post that Jill shared on Instagram showed her oldest sister’s first dance, an invitation with a list of other family members involved and some family photos taken at the ceremony.
Jana tied the knot with Stephen Wissmann in an Arkansas ceremony on Thursday.
The couple had a simple wedding with 500 guests, which she called a “dream come true.”
The Counting On star also replied to other inquiring comments made under her post showing beautiful moments from the wedding.
“I’m so glad you and you were at the wedding,” an Instagrammer commented.
“Wouldn’t have missed it for the world,” Jill stated.
“Some were questioning if you attended the wedding,” a fan said.
“I’m so glad you did. You look lovely as always.”
