It’s been just over 15 years since rumors surfaced that Jessica Simpson and Jeremy Renner were a couple and now they’re leaving cute comments for each other on Instagram!
Back in March 2010, it was reported that Jessica and Jeremy were seen “flirting up a storm” at a party to celebrate his movie The Hurt Locker during Oscars season.
Jess and Jeremy reportedly exchanged numbers before going their separate ways, but he shot down the reports a few days later. He said at the time, “Her hair stylist [Ken Paves] did my mom’s hair so we were talking about that, and then all of a sudden we’re dating!”
The two stars have either remained friendly over the years or they may have sparked up something new.

Jeremy posted a shirtless workout video two weeks ago and Jessica commented with the fire emoji.
Jessica took to her Instagram page on March 21 to celebrate the release of her new album Nashville Canyon Part 1. She wrote, “#NashvilleCanyon is the result of learning to hear my heart again, free from industry expectations. It’s about surrendering, letting my voice be my main guide, and trusting the journey ahead. Always inviting God into the room where music creates itself, with a voice that communicates on a spiritual level of grace without fear and allowing the music to be my main voice.”
Jeremy posted his congratulations in the comments section!
Jeremy posted another shirtless workout video on March 23, but this time his mom joined him. “Training with my mom is [the] coolest thing ever,” he wrote.
Jessica commented, “I love this oh my…Mama is STRONG…I need to go do sit ups now 🤣”
Back in January 2025, Jessica announced her split from husband Eric Johnson after 10 years of marriage.
It’s been years since Jeremy was publicly linked to anyone. Last year, he starred in a Super Bowl commercial with his daughter Ava!
