She has also been a target of criticism but never lets that deter her from updating her social media, just like she did with a recent bare-faced pic flaunting her natural beauty.
Jessica Simpson Shares Laudable Makeup-Free Look In New Instagram Post
During a quick trip to Walgreens, the “Irresistible” star discovered something exciting and could not help but take a picture.
Updating her 6.3 million Instagram followers, she showed herself being photographed beside the aisle displaying several hair accessories, including bands and clips from her brand, The Jessica Simpson Collection.
Simpson, who pouted her lips at the camera, looked lovely without wearing any makeup compared to a glammed-up shot of her on the aisle. “Look who I found at Walgreens late last night searching for a screwdriver 🤣,” she captioned the post, gaining over 13k likes in a few hours.
The comments section was also filled with praises for her natural beauty, including one that read, “Yes, I love this!!!! Hottie 😍.” Another admirer gushed, “As always, this woman ❤️ is an eye-catcher,” followed by a third who declared, “Now that’s a no makeup pic ❤️❤️❤️.”

This comes on the heels of the criticism Simpson received for supposedly lying about going makeup free for her 43rd birthday Instagram post. As seen in the featured photo, her face looked flawless as she grinned at the camera, emphasizing her cheeks and naturally pink lips.
Fans would have also noticed the “I Wanna Love You Forever” singer’s glowing skin, indicating it was perfectly moisturized and in full view thanks to her tightly bound hair. Spicing up her look, she wore hoop earrings and a crystal necklace and appeared not to have worn much makeup, as revealed in her caption. She wrote, “43 makeup free (kinda. Ha. I did curl my lashes).”
Her followers did not fail to notice her “makeup-free” statement as they took to the comments to bash her for claiming she only curled her lashes. A critic believed she put on mascara, concealer, and lipstick, which they noted was not makeup free. A second commenter added that the actress used lip gloss and eyebrow pencil.
One more fan who still praised Simpson’s beauty remarked, “Beautiful as always but not makeup-free in this photo. Choosing makeup or no makeup is fine…just be honest about it, especially for the young, impressionable fans.”
Similarly, another supporter was not so bothered about the icon wearing makeup as they felt there was no shame in that. However, they also wanted Simspon to stop being untruthful about her appearance.

Last month, Simpson showed she was not backing down from turning her 2020-released memoir “Open Book” into a TV show after it was canceled on Amazon Prime. The book was a best-seller, and she was set to be the series’ executive producer, marking her first producing gig since her reality show “Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica” on MTV.
Unfortunately, per reports, Amazon insiders stressed that “The Price of Beauty” star was not qualified to be an executive producer for a TV show considering her limited experience.
They stated, “On one level, Jessica is a TV expert because of the success of Newlyweds 20 years ago. But turning her book into a streaming dramedy series has been a tall order.”
