JEOPARDY! player Matt Harvey has revealed he is married in a wild moment caught on camera.
On Friday, Matt – a healthcare administrator from Providence, Rhode Island – showed off his wife during the Second Chance Tournament.
Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings, 49, mentioned how fans became attracted to Matt’s wardrobe during his past appearance.
“My wardrobe was the champion,” Matt responded.
“A lot of positive reviews of my half-zipped sweater on the internet, which I did not expect. A few comments like ‘Hot Nerd Alert’ and ‘I have a crush on Matt Harvey.’
“They’re all pretty great. In unrelated news, I would like to thank my wife for being here today.”
The camera pointed to Matt’s wife, Amy Anthony, who waved at the camera.
“What does she think about all the hot nerd alerts?” Ken asked.
Matt replied with a smile: “She agrees.”
“There’s going to be more hot nerd alerts when this airs!” Ken added.

MATT’S IMPRESSIVE DEBUT
In November 2022, Matt first appeared on the popular quiz show when he faced off against Sheila Anderson, a philanthropic advisor from Seattle, Washington, and Cris Pannullo, an operations success manager and former professional poker player from Ocean City, New Jersey.
Viewers were freaking out as Cris became technically outplayed by newcomer Matt, who got more clues correct.
Ken admitted to Matt: “You’d easily be in the first place if not for Cris’ remarkable Daily Double bet.”
One impressed viewer wrote at the time: “Cris was holding on to his pen until the last moment, and I thought he hadn’t written down anything.
“Great poker face befitting the professional poker player that he is!”
Another viewer wrote: “Holy moly, talk about a nail-biter. If Jeopardy gave out an award for Game of the Year, this one would be hard to top.”
A third person commented: “I’m not usually one to get anxious over a game show, but this one did it.
“Matt is a phenomenal player, who should absolutely be booked for the next Second Chance tournament! Absolutely fantastic game.”
TAKING THE SPOTLIGHT
On Thursday, Matt continued to impress viewers as he came out victorious against competitors Kelly Shannon-Henderson and Max Davidson upon his return to the famous game show.
In an online thread, fans pointed out how the contestant won the game without using Daily Doubles.
A fan explained: “An interesting trio of games…Matt didn’t need any DDs to win, either. Any of the three finalists could make it to the Champions Wild Card Tournament (CWC) I think.”
Second Chance is the redemption round for players who fell short in the previous season, offering them another shot at glory and the prize money of $250,000 for the Tournament of Champions.
The event marks a return to the norm for Jeopardy!, as the tournament was supposed to kick off Season 40 before the Writers Guild of America strikes.
Ken continues as the sole host after former co-host Mayim Bialik, 48, was fired in mid-December 2023.
