Seems like Jennifer Lopez is ready to sing about her breakup with Ben Affleck.
During the first show of her “Up All Night” tour in Pontevedra, Spain, on Tuesday, the singer and actress gave fans a glimpse into her personal life with her new track, “Wreckage of You.”
“This is a song that is a new song that I want to sing for the first time tonight that came to me when I was up all night one night,” Lopez said in a video shared to social media. “Shall we sing this one for the people?”
The emotional ballad opens with, “The love I want, the love I need, it starts in me, now I found my way here, I’m gonna stay there.”
“Thank you for the scars you left on my heart, was showing me that stars shine brighter in the dark,” it continues. “I won’t fall apart because of who we are, but your broken parts.”
The star of “The Wedding Planner” sang about being “stronger,” “wiser” and “better” than she’s “ever been” in the wake of a relationship.

“It was perfect the while that you made me believe, really got only greater for me, and it made me stronger, stronger, bulletproof,” she goes on. “Now watch me climb out of the wreckage of you.”
Though Lopez didn’t mention her ex-husband Affleck by name, the track comes six months after the pair finalized their divorce following two years of marriage.
While she has avoided going into details about what ended the relationship, Lopez told comedian Nikki Glaser that the breakup “almost” took her “out for good” during a conversation for Interview magazine last October.
Affleck has been a bit more open, back in March telling GQ magazine how he and his ex had different “temperaments,” but there was “no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue” leading up to the split.
The couple’s divorce happened a little over two decades after Affleck and Lopez’s first go at a relationship. The duo broke off their first engagement back in 2004 amid intense media scrutiny.
