Jennifer Lopez Accused Of ‘Love Addiction’ Amid Divorce Rumors

Hollywood power couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are allegedly heading for divorce due to the singer’s “love addiction.”

According to reports, Lopez’s constant need for a partner has strained their marriage, with her history detailing that she has a pattern of falling “fast and hard” in all her relationships.

Jennifer Lopez shared a Father’s Day post in honor of Ben Affleck. However, it didn’t match the intensity of the one she wrote to him the previous year.

Lopez and Affleck have been rumored to be heading toward divorce in recent months, with reports already noting that they are no longer living together.

While speculations have risen about what could be causing the split of one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples, TMZ’s new documentary on Hulu, “JLo & Ben: Missed Warning Sign,” has shed light on another possible reason.

According to sources they interviewed, Lopez is a “love addict” with a need to “have a man in her life constantly.”

They believe the actress never took enough “alone time” between relationships. Without taking time to reflect, it was unlikely she ever figured out what went wrong in her past relationships,  making it seemingly impossible for her next relationship to “work and endure.”

It is also understood that her history of falling “fast and hard” in relationships—from Ojani Noa to Chris Judd, Marc Anthony, A-Rod, and now Affleck—supports the idea being speculated.

In May, insiders suggested that the couple was heading toward divorce due to differing ideas on managing media attention in their relationship.

A source told People magazine, “They just have very different approaches when it comes to media attention. Ben hates all attention and it makes him very uncomfortable. Jennifer has always had a different approach.”

Another source added to the speculation, claiming that Affleck has consistently struggled with the public aspects of Lopez’s life, which inevitably caused tension in their relationship.

The insider said about the duo, “He is more introspective and private. She likes to open her heart to her fans and to the world. This makes them considerably different, and it has been difficult in the day-to-day relationship.

They added, “There have always been clashes in their styles, how they handle issues, and their actions.”

Lopez has seemingly given up on saving her marriage to Affleck and is reportedly ready to move on.

A source recently alleged to the Daily Mail that the “Atlas” star is tired of trying to make things work with her husband and now sees that there is nothing “more” she can do to get their marriage back on track.

The source said, “Jenny has had enough and she really tried but she can do no more, it’s not getting any better, it’s worse.”

They further claimed that Lopez decided to walk away from Affleck because he was constantly “grumpy and negative.”

The insider also shared that Lopez and Affleck “really tried hard” to make their marriage work to no end.

“There is no one to blame here. It just was not in the cards. It is very hard for two massive stars to keep a marriage going, one has to give in, and in this case neither gave in,” the source said.

Amid the rumors of Lopez and Affleck ending their marriage, the 53-year-old woman took to Instagram to honor the “Batman” star on Father’s Day.

She shared a black-and-white shot of him with the caption, “Our hero. Happy Father’s Day.” The actress also included a white heart emoji.

The post was a stark contrast to Lopez’s more outlandish post from the previous year’s celebration, in which she shared two pictures of them cozying up together while another was a mash-up of loving moments they shared.

She also penned a longer write-up at the time, indicating they were still deeply involved romantically.

“Daddy Appreciation Post. Happy Father’s Day, Papa,” Lopez wrote back then. “And Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing Papas out there!! We love you and appreciate you more than you will ever know.”

In recent months, Lopez and Affleck have been spotted numerous times in public, sharing gestures that might hint all is well in their romance.

They were seen sharing an awkward kiss while meeting up outside a basketball game where Affleck’s son, Samuel, was playing. Affleck shares the 12-year-old and two other children with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

The duo were also spotted holding hands at Affleck’s daughter Violet’s graduation ceremony in Los Angeles, although they had somber looks on their faces.

According to the Daily Mail, body language expert Judi James claimed that the duo’s “most recent appearances together have [only] thrown up a lack of the kind of intimacy, passion, or loving signals that would reassure the fans.”

James also mentioned that the embattled couple no longer had the “look of love” in their eyes when they looked at each other but instead chose to share only “frosty” looks.
