Jason Momoa & Lisa Bonet Agree To Joint Custody Of Kids
Hollywood star Momoa and Bonet have settled their divorce, and their agreement entails that both will have joint custody of their children: daughter Lola, 16, and son Nokoa-Wolf, 15.
According to the filing, the former couple entered into a written marital settlement agreement on January 5, 2023.
“Based upon the division of assets and income as agreed by the parties in the (settlement), the parties shall share the living expenses of the minor children and neither party shall pay child support to the other,” the documents read. “If the minor children, or either of them, are traveling or vacationing with one of the parties, that party shall be responsible for the children’s expenses for such trips.”
The court document also states that the former couple has “waived the right” to seek or receive spousal support from one another.
It reads, “[Bonet] and [Momoa] each forever waive the right to seek or receive spousal support from the other, in light of the financial agreements between them as provided in the [settlement] with respect to their division of assets and income.”
The couple’s divorce comes a year after they publically announced they were breaking up.
“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. And so~ We share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage,” a statement at the time read.
As for the divorce, both parties will be officially and legally single as of today, January 9, 2023.
