MTV producer Jared March has died at the age of 28 after being diagnosed with cancer in 2022.
According to his obituary, he passed away on January 27 in New York, just weeks after his wedding.
March produced the popular shows “The Challenge” and “All Stars” and set up the Team Jmared Foundation to support cancer patients.
The Team Jmared Foundation has confirmed his passing following two and a half years of battling cancer during which he found love and got married while traveling in South Africa.
“Jared was strong, kind, creative, funny and loving,” the tribute states.
“From the day he was diagnosed, Jared fought with his full self and showed the world what it means to fight to survive with grace and courage.

“He fought through countless treatments and surgeries to maximize his time with those he loved.
“To be clear, Jared never let his cancer diagnosis define him – he lived every day to the fullest.”
March’s family and his foundation have vowed to “carry on his legacy.”
“Jared’s family will be carrying on his legacy through the Team Jmared Foundation to continue supporting patients battling cancer,” the announcement of his death stated.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday at Star of David Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Chaple in North Lauderdale, Florida.
March got married to Brittany Greene March on December 30, 2023, and he died less than a month later.
His wife has paid tribute to March on her Instagram page highlighting his foundation in her stories saying: “Forever proud of you.”
Jared’s foundation raised over $300,00 for cancer patients and their loved ones.
In the following slides, she shared a memorial video from The Challenge and other tributes from friends and family.
Brittany’s post featuring pictures of their wedding in Fort Lauderdale saw her announce her excitement for their future together.
“Started the year a Greene, ending the year a March. 12.30.23,” she wrote.
“In the spirit of living for today, Jared and I spontaneously decided to get married yesterday.
“We are still so excited for our big celebration later in 2024, but we didn’t want to wait to start this next phase of our lives together.”
