Jamie Foxx Thanks Nick Cannon For Stepping Up For Him
Foxx and daughter Corinne have returned to their host and DJ duties at “Beat Shazam” after taking a health break for season 6.
The break was due to a medical complication that the “Django Unchained” actor suffered while filming his new movie “Back in Action” in April 2023.
In a clip from People Magazine, Foxx and Corinne shared their appreciation for the people who kept the show going during their absence.
They said, “Since we had to miss last season, I thought we should take a minute to say thank you to the people who stepped up at the last minute and kept Shazam going.”
This includes Nick Cannon, who took over as a show host, and Kelly Osborne, who was the temporary DJ.

Although details of Foxx’s health battle are shrouded in mystery, the actor revealed at the seventh annual AAFCA Special Achievement Awards that he will share what happened to him during a Stand-Up comedy show.
