James Gunn’s upcoming Superman film is currently shooting in Cleveland, Ohio, where local reporters have uncovered that the late Christopher Reeve’s son, Will Reeve, will make a cameo in the movie.
As spotted in behind-the-scenes photos taken by David Petkiewicz for Cleveland.com on Tuesday (July 2nd), the former Man of Steel’s youngest son will play a news reporter. It’s not a far stretch from Will Reeve’s day job as a journalist and ABC News correspondent.
Christopher Reeve is best known for playing Clark Kent/Superman in four Superman movies released between 1978 and 1987. He passed away from heart failure in October 2004 at the age of 52.
Slated to open in theaters on July 11th, 2025, Superman will be the first film in the Gunn-helmed DC Universe, with David Corenswet playing the titular superhero.
The movie will also feature Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl.
