Every few years, Lenny Kravitz resurfaces to remind everyone that he’s in freakishly good shape and to him, age ain’t nothing but a number.
He appeared on the cover of Men’s Health Magazine back in October 2020 and wowed the fitness world with his shredded 56-year-old body. Our then colleague, Francis Ellis joked at the time that Lenny’s abs were ‘going to ruin men’s lives.’
Flash forward four more years and Lenny Kravitz, who turns 60 years old next month, is back at it. Never mind the fact that he works out in leather pants like a complete and utter crazy person, Lenny’s doing weighted incline sit-ups with the bar + plates and making it look easy. He’s a freak:
For a second I thought that was Joe Manganiello throwing Lenny Kravitz a spot on the weighted incline sit-ups by holding his feet but it appears to be Lenny’s trainer, Dodd Romero, who is the man behind Lenny’s absurd abs as he approaches 60-years-old and looks better than most 22-year-old dudes who work out five days a week.
I’m sorry, I know I said ‘never mind the fact that he works out in leather pants’ but we have to revisit that. I know he’s a fashion icon. He knows he’s a fashion icon. But man, it’s the gym. Why on earth would you workout in leather pants when there’s an entire world of fitness apparel out there?
Even at an Equinox Gym in SoHo or anywhere in NYC where everyone is more fashion forward, this is a completely psychotic move.
