Jack Johnson announced a string of tour Southern Hemisphere summer tour dates set to take place in late November and December. The surf-rock icon’s tour is in support of his first offering in five years, Meet The Moonlight, which was released on June 24, 2022.
After flying to the land down under, Johnson and his band–bassist Merlo Podlewski, keyboardist Zach Gill, and drummer Adam Topol–will start the summer tour with a show at the Kings Park and Botanic Garden, in Perth on Nov. 29. He’ll continue to traverse around Australia making stops at Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, until Dec. 8. He’ll be joined in Australia with special guests Ziggy Alberts and Emily Wurramara.
After the Australian shows, Johnson will head over to New Zealand to share his newest album with two of the country’s finest outdoor venues. On Dec.10 he’ll play at The Outerfields at Western Springs in Auckland, before heading down to Napier’s Church Road Winery on Dec 11. During the shows in New Zealand, he’ll be joined by Kiwi eight-piece reggae band, The Black Seeds, who will perform songs off their latest album Love & Fire.
Johnson is currently on a Northern Hemisphere summer tour and has dates in North America scheduled through October.
