Jack Huston finds the light in the darkness with his role in Konstantin Khudyakov’s upcoming film.
In the first trailer for Gravitas Ventures’ I’m Beginning to See the Light, premiering May 2, Huston stars as Ezra Cooper, a once-famous, now-struggling trumpeter whose family is killed in a horrific car crash.
“It was an accident. The truck was transporting a Fresnel lens,” a man tells Ezra as he recovers in the hospital. “It sits on top of a lighthouse, spins around.”
After visiting the lighthouse, Ezra mistaken for the keeper and decides to stay, living as a recluse. He soon meets Sam (Brandon T. Jackson), a suicidal visitor that gives Ezra’s life meaning as he finds solace in his new friend’s presence and resolves to help other lost souls who stumble upon the lighthouse.
But when Ezra sparks a connection to a beautiful, enigmatic teacher named Hannah (Abbie Cornish), bonding with her son over his love of music, Sam becomes unreasonably jealous, leading to an inevitable clash between the trio.
