Streaming star IShowSpeed was left panicked after himself and his crew got stuck in a cramped elevator during their trip to Slovakia.
IShowSpeed is currently on another tour across Europe, this one funded by the countries he’s visiting to help promote tourism in the region.
This time, he’s making stops throughout Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, drawing crowds of hundreds of excited fans in Finland and Estonia — so many, in fact, that they caused a dock to collapse into the sea under their weight.
That wasn’t the wildest moment to happen during his travels, though. On July 18, 2025, Speed and his crew were eating at a historic restaurant in Slovakia. After their meal, they decided to take an elevator to one of the building’s lower floors, but soon ran into trouble.
IShowSpeed confronted with “worst fear” as crew stuck in lift
Speed and five of his crewmembers, including his cameraman, piled into a small, old elevator together — but they quickly realized they’d gotten stuck inside the lift.
“Dawg, what the f**k, bruh?” a frustrated Speed said as his crew attempted to figure out a solution. “Oh, hell nah. Say you swear to God! We’re stuck in a f**king elevator! Somebody call an ambulance.”
“Oh, my days,” the streamer continued. “This is my worst f**king fear. We’re stuck in an elevator.”
One of the men in the elevator started jumping up and down to try and ‘unstick’ the lift, prompting Speed and others in his company to scramble and stop him from potentially making the situation any worse.
Some workers outside the elevator shaft even began breaking the small windows in the lift’s doors in an attempt to help the streamer and his buddies get out.
Luckily, the group were only stuck in the claustrophobic situation for 15 minutes, and an engineer was swiftly arrived to help get them escape.
After finally pouring out of the lift, Speed approached the worker responsible for freeing them, giving him a warm hug as thanks for his service.
“Buddy, you just saved my f**king life,” he said. “And saved five other people’s lives. Thank you so much.”
This is just the latest wild moment to happen during Speed’s summer 2025 Europe tour after he was forced to flee from a mob of fans who swarmed him in Helsinki, Finland.
The journey has been a hugely successful one for Speed, though, earning him 600,000 followers on Twitch just eight days after returning to the platform for his big comeback following a four-year hiatus.
