Streaming star IShowSpeed has revealed that he got a bit of a surprise on his China tour after checking into a hotel.
Over the last few years, as he has risen up to become one of the biggest streamers around, IShowSpeed has swapped streaming in his home for many IRL (in real-life) trips around the world.
Initially, a lot of Speed’s IRL streams were about going to football games to watch Cristiano Ronaldo, or when he’d play in a charity game himself. Now, he jets across the globe meeting fans and going on any number of side quests.
He ramped things up with massive trips to Europe and South East Asia, where Speed was mobbed by thousands of fans. Though, while in Europe, he did have to spend thousands out of his own pocket for damage they’d done to his rental cars.
IShowSpeed gets Cristiano Ronaldo surprise in China hotel
The surprises while traveling can provide some pretty memorable moments for Speed while on-stream, but he regularly them off-stream too.
That was the case with the start of his China trip, as he revealed that a hotel in Beijing actually put a photo of him and Cristiano Ronaldo in his room for him. Though, it wasn’t exactly on the wall.
“I love when a hotel put my Ronaldo picture right by the bed, like, come on!” he said, showing off the framed photo.
Speed’s trip to China has already been a big success for the YouTuber. He surpassed 37 million subscribers on his first day there and has promised to link up with Jackie Chan at some point too.
The tour is set to be one of his biggest yet, but Speed has also promised to return to some of the countries that have shown him the most love in the past.
On top of that, he still has a huge tour of Africa to come as well.
