Ironmouse raises $1M for the charity she says VShojo never paid in just two days

VTuber Ironmouse has helped raise $1M for The Immune Deficiency Foundation days after quitting VShojo for allegedly not paying the charity.

On July 21, Ironmouse revealed she was quitting VShojo, claiming that the org hadn’t paid The Immune Deficiency Foundation $500K from her viral charity subathon.

The news sent shockwaves through the streaming community with fellow VTubers announcing they too were quitting VShojo, including Kson, who quit live during a stream with the company’s CEO.

Fortunately, Ironmouse’s decision has resulted in even more money being earned for the charity than before, with the VTuber’s fundraiser hitting $1M just days later on July 23.

Ironmouse’s Immune Deficiency Foundation fundraiser hits $1M

Just days after Ironmouse revealed she was leaving VShojo, her Tiltify fundraiser went viral with fans donating thousands of dollars to the campaign.

The movement even surprised the VTuber, who was overwhelmed by the response.

“I don’t really have words that can properly express how I feel. I feel like saying thank you to everyone is not enough, but thank you all so much for your kindness,” she said.

“My heart is so full it feels like it’s going to explode. You all are truly amazing. I’m gonna go cry now.”

The Immune Deficiency Foundation even posted a video from the org’s CEO, thanking Ironmouse for going above and beyond.

“Even in the midst of challenges, she thought of us before herself,” IDF President Jorey Berry praised. “What has been raised… is surreal. Overwhelming in the best possible way.”

As big as the $1M milestone is, Ironmouse isn’t done with her work. The VTuber plans on doing a special live stream later in July to help raise money for the charity, so it’s anyone’s guess just how much the fundraiser will hit when all is said and done.
