DAVID Beckham spent an estimated £250,000 on wife Victoria’s 50th birthday bash last night — with Tom Cruise leading a host of star guests.
Beforehand, the couple and their four children — Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12 — posed for a picture in their £30million West London home.
Then, decked out head-to-toe in designer clothes, they headed out for a “golden ball” at Oswald’s, an exclusive nearby private members’ restaurant.
David and the children all personally penned their own heartfelt speeches they delivered at Victoria’s intimate party.
A sources at the soiree said “there wasn’t a dry eye in the house”, as the family spoke of their love for Victoria — while also cracking jokes about her.
The opulent event saw Posh host 40 pals — including a Spice Girls reunion with ex bandmates Geri Horner, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Mel C.
No expense was spared at the soiree, which served £3,000 bottles of her favourite Chateau Mouton Rothschild, £500 bottles of champagne and food by a private chef.
Posh stunned in a see-through green, floor-length gown, with organza detail, and diamond jewellery.
Despite her broken foot, she used crutches so she could wear white stiletto heels to complete her outfit.
Daughter Harper wore a cream silk dress with spaghetti straps, while the men wore black-tie suits.
Posh posted a snap of the family in their finery to her 32 million followers with the caption: “Can’t wait to celebrate with my friends and family! I love you all so much.”
An insider said: “David really splashed the cash. He wanted it to be extra-special for her after she always makes such an effort for everyone else.”
His ex Man Utd team-mate Gary Neville was one of the first to arrive with wife Emma.
Other guests included actress Salma Hayek, chef Gordon Ramsay and wife Tana, film director Guy Ritchie, singer Marc Antony, actor Jason Statham and his wife, model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Eva Longoria.
Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise wore a tuxedo and sunglasses as he joined the party — but bumped into a photographer, causing the man to fall over.
Guests were served champagne and cocktails before a lavish four-course dinner, which included oysters. Starters were Italian-inspired shared platters.
Main courses included sea bass and steak, and Victoria was presented with a huge birthday cake.
Later, guests took to the dancefloor to let their hair down.
