THE Traitors series two went out with one hell of a bang – and the gang had plenty of celebrate after smashing viewing records.
As Harry Clark emerged victorious, and after an awkward face-to-face debrief on spin-off chat show, The Traitors: Uncloaked, it was time for all the contestants to let their hair down and reunite for a party.
With no more threats of sabotage, castmates including Harry, fellow finalists Mollie Pearce and Jaz Singh, former traitor Paul Gorton, mum-and-son duo Ross and Diane, and Charlotte Chilton joined forces for the after party.
Uncloaked host Ed Gamble shared pictures from the event, grabbing selfies with as many of the contestants as he could – admitting he was drinking a lot of wine in the process.
“Please enjoy these photos of me getting steadily more p****d and red wine lipped at The Traitors wrap party,” he joked, adding “Uncloaked was the biggest blast to work on – the team are amazing and the cast of the show are instant national treasures.”
“Stay faithful x (If I say this enough I think we can make it take off as a catchphrase),” he concluded.
The party took place immediately after the recording of The Traitors: Uncloaked, with production team and participants all celebrating their staggering success.
Soon after many of the contestants were quick to also share their photos from the memorable night.
However, notably Mollie – who said she ‘never wanted to speak to Harry again’ after he was revealed as a traitor – and Harry weren’t seen in any pictures together.
Mollie, 21, and Harry, 23, were tight knit on the BBC gameshow of deception and subterfuge – with Mollie completely unaware ‘best mate’ Harry was secretly a Traitor whose aim was to take the ‘faithful’ players down.
The truth was finally revealed in Friday’s nailbiting finale – when Harry walked away with all £95,150 money after Mollie opted to side with him over Jaz Singh in a final attempt to oust the saboteur.
Paul, who was rightly ousted as a Traitor during the show’s run, congratulated his fellow mischief maker in arms Harry for making it to the end.
Sharing a picture in which Harry is piggy-backing him at the afterparty, Paul wrote: “A ginormous congratulations to the main man and OG Traitor @harryclarky on winning The Traitors Season 2!!
“Absolutely made up for you mate. What on earth will the country do next Wednesday at 9pm!”
Jaz Singh – who came inches away from the prize money but lost out when his bid to oust Harry didn’t work – also seemed to be in good spirits and simply wrote alongside his own picture: “End of the war and to new beginnings”
With series two now complete, there is already a search on for contestants for series three.
