JUSTIN Timberlake and Jessica Biel have continued to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, months after Britney Spears’ shocking tell-all book was released.
Britney accused Justin of cheating, as well as confessing to getting an abortion during their relationship in her memoir, The Woman in Me.
The shocking claims reportedly left Justin, 42, and Jessica’s life “in chaos”.
But they have continued to put on a united front.
In November they appeared together at the premiere of Justin’s animated film Trolls Band Together.
And earlier this month Jessica, 41, gave fans a rare insight into her home life with the SexyBack hitmaker, sharing sweet photos of their home life, including their kids.
Justin and Jessica got together in 2007 and eventually got married in 2012 after a brief split in 2011.
They tied the knot with an intimate ceremony in the Italian countryside.
The have two sons; Silas, who was born in 2015, and Phineas, who was born in 2020.
Throughout their high profile relationship as one of the most glamorous couples in Hollywood, they’ve managed to keep their relationship under wraps.
But they’ve not escaped without scandal.
BRITNEY’S TELL-ALL
Justin has been facing serious backlash after some of the bombshells in ex-girlfriend Britney’s book were made public.
The pop singer claimed she got an abortion while dating the N*Sync frontman and accused him of being unfaithful to her.
The Circus singer opened up about her rocky romance with Justin in her book The Woman in Me.
Following “heart-wrenching discussions,” the pair – who dated between 1999 and 2002 – agreed she would get an abortion, it was claimed.
Britney, now 41, claimed that she got the abortion in 2000 – a decision she quickly came to regret.
The decision is said to have “haunted” Britney before she went on to have her sons, Sean Preston in 2005 and Jayden James in 2006, with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
She also alleged in the memoir that her then-boyfriend Justin was unfaithful during their three-year relationship.
The Louisiana native claimed in her writing that the entertainer stepped out on her with another female musician whom she declined to name to avoid embarrassing the woman, who now has a family.
DEALING WITH DRAMA
The Trolls voice actor and his wife were said to be “reeling” after his ex’s claims came to light.
An insider told The U.S. Sun, “Justin owns who he was when he and Britney were together, even though his personality, career, lifestyle, and personal priorities are radically different now, 20 years later.
“This book is a nightmare for him because of how it throws the whole family into chaos. The timing stings just as much as the revelation itself.”
The source went on: “Justin had a big fall planned with new music on deck, more work with his old friends in NSYNC, and of course, the next installment of the Trolls franchise, which has been a huge moneymaker for Justin over the last several years.”
Ahead of the book’s October 24 release, there had been major speculation about what it would reveal about Britney and Justin’s relationship.
So far, the couple has not addressed the claims.
CHEATING ALLEGATIONS
In November 2019 photos emerged of Justin looking very cozy with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright.
The singer appeared to have been drinking and was seen holding hands with Alisha and putting her hand on his knee.
Justin posted an emotional apology about the pictures, saying he made a “strong lapse in judgement.”
In an Instagram post, he wrotem “I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family, I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love.
“A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment — but let me be clear — nothing happened between me and my costar.
“I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better.”
The star added: “This is not the example I want to set for my son.
“I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be.
“This was not that. I am incredibly proud to be working on Palmer.
“Looking forward to continuing to make this movie and excited for people to see it.”
It was the first time Justin spoke out about his personal life.
After the public apology, a sources revealed of the couple: “Obviously Justin drank too much this time, but Jessica believes he didn’t cheat on her.”
“What’s most important to her in life is her family and being the best mom to Silas. She’ll never break up her family over something like this.” the insider told People.
The following year, Jessica posted a gushing Father’s Day tribute to her man and the couple welcomed their second son Phineas the following month.
Justin and Jessica renewed their vows in the summer of 2022 on a trip to Italy, 10 years after they married.
The Sinner actress shared a series of photos from the trip to her Instagram, captioning the post, “Being married to you is the adventure of a lifetime! Run it back, baby. RUN IT BACK. I love you.”
MOVING FORWARD
The couple are putting their best foot forward as they embark on 2024 and Justin prepares to go on tour.
On January 10 Jessica shared an intimate look at her home life, posting a collection of photos including a sunset, a hot chocolate and one of her sons wearing a mask of Animal from The Muppets.
“More of this in 2024,” she wrote in the caption.
Justin, meanwhile, wiped his Instagram of all its content and appears to be focusing on music for now.
Justin has just four posts on his page promoting his upcoming concert in Memphis.
Justin is said to be hoping to set out on tour in 2024 and considering a potential slate of shows around the world after that.
An insider told The U.S. Sun: “Truthfully, no one is sure how Justin will come out of this at the moment. The dust needs to settle on the headlines and shock of Britney’s words.
“Justin has been really focused on this music comeback with a desire to show just how great he is on the live stage. He has a stellar collection of hits and is excited to show off this new album in front of audiences.”
“It is a really big 12 months ahead of him. Certainly, before all this blew up, the mindset was that Justin would re-establish himself as one of the best male entertainers of modern pop,” they added.
“The desire remains. Certainly going out and delivering new chart hits and killer shows will go a long way to make audiences forget about these controversies.”
