Influencer Kelsey Henson in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Squat Session"

Kelsey Henson, a fitness influencer who first gained attention for her relationship with “Game of Thrones” star Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, has built an impressive following of nearly 470,000 on Instagram. “Last squat session, itching to get under the bar again 👀🔊@transparentlabs,” she said on an Instagram video of her lifting weights. What else does she do to stay in incredible shape? Here’s what we discovered about her routine.

She sets goals for herself and continues to deadlift. “First time hitting these numbers in over a year. Last time I lifted like this was right before my pregnancy with Grace. I had such good energy in the gym and felt so strong, (follicular phase feels), I decided to go for it. I was so keen I forgot to do up my belt all the way 😂. @transparentlabs,” she said on an Instagram video of her lifting.

She knows when to get to work and she knows when to relax, letting her body unwind. “Did a little hike up to a beautiful natural hotspring. It was my second time here and while it’s been more commercialized (you now have to pay for parking), the actual hotspring is about 45-60 min hike up the mountain and is quite secluded. Other than a board walk and dividers for changing behind it’s a completely natural area. Great to connect with the earth, slow down and detach from the busyness of everyday life,” she said on Instagram.

She knows how to be silly to get some activity in that way, as well, dancing around the room to fun music, as seen in this Instagram video captioned, “anyone else dance like no one is watching? 💃🏼😂 @reignbodyfuel.” According to Better Health, “Dancing is an enjoyable way to be more physically active and stay fit.”

She knows when to unplug and focus on her mental health, as well as her physical. “Connect. Download. Integrate. What do you see in these photos? What do you feel in these photos? ✨🌍,” she said on a series of Instagram photos, including stunning landscape views. According to the Mayo Clinic, “meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit your emotional well-being and your overall health. You also can use it to relax and cope with stress by focusing on something that calms you. Meditation can help you learn to stay centered and keep inner peace.”

She works hard to stay grounded, keeping her head clear and focused. “These photos capture the exact energy of this trip. Not just experiencing the beauty of the Icelandic land and water but feeling it, connecting with it. Taking the time to sit, meditate and breath it all in,” she said on a series of photos from Iceland of her meditating and connecting with the earth and scenery.
