It was an afternoon to honor the best in independent film at the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards!
Lots of stars stepped out for the annual event at the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday afternoon (March 6) in Santa Monica, Calif.
Movies that won multiple awards at the event included Zola and The Lost Daughter. The awards show also honored the best new series on television, though those shows didn’t have to be independent productions to be eligible for the awards.
The show was hosted by married couple Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally, who kicked the ceremony off by flipping their fingers at Russian president Vladimir Putin.
