Incubus Reveal New Album Title, 'Something In The Water'

Incubus have revealed that their forthcoming new album will be titled ‘Something In The Water’.

The band made the announcement by projecting the title on to a series of iconic locations along London’s River Thames. They performed a headline show at the city’s O2 Arena this weekend (April 26), playing the classic album ‘Morning View’ in full.

Frontman Brandon Boyd also revealed earlier this week that the album is complete and that a listening event took place while they were in the UK.

He wrote “Today we did the very first playback of our new album for a small group of music journalists and listeners. It was a strange experience to sit in a room with people I’d never met and ask them to listen to our new album in its entirety and hope that they liked it. That being said, it was also kind of liberating to finally get some ears on our new album, because that means it’s that much closer to coming out. We’ll have a first single for all of you very soon!”

Incubus’ previous album ‘8’ was released in 2017, reaching No.4 on the US Billboard 200 chart. The EP ‘Trust Fall (Side B)’ followed in 2020 and the band also re-recorded ‘Morning View’ in 2023 in honour of its 20th anniversary.
