A WOMAN has revealed that she is only a size 16 but didn’t fit in a ride at Universal Studios.
Yesi Hdez explained that she went to go on the Flight of the Hippogriff rollercoaster with her husband, but was refused entry because she couldn’t fit in the seat properly.
Yesi explained that she was then ‘humbled’ to her ‘core’, by the ride attendant’s reasoning.
Posting on social media, Yesi filmed her free fast pass vouchers, as she wrote: “POV: Leaving Universal Studios absolutely humbled to my core because I didn’t fit on a ride and the ride attendant said he was so sorry but Japanese people are built smaller and then gave me fast pass vouchers while kindly escorting me off the ride.”
She then added: “The way he was so sweet about it but the rides here are built smaller, just for your information.”
Yesi later explained: “I said ‘earth open up and swallow me please’.”
In the short video, we then saw Yesi’s husband sitting in the front row of the ride, as she continued: “At least one of us got to enjoy it.”
In a follow-up clip, Yesi showed off her body and explained in full what happened.
My thighs are a little bit thicker so that was the issue with that ride

She said: “We all carry weight differently and that’s okay.
“I thought it was humbling more than anything and good to know for future reference.
It’s totally fine, I didn’t take offence to it at all.
“It’s true people here in Japan are built a lot smaller, but let me show you my body for reference in case you are somebody who’s a similar size to me and are going to Universal Studios.
“So this is my body type, I am a little bit wider at the hip, so when I would get in and out of rides it was a little bit of a tighter squeeze.
“My thighs are a little bit thicker so that was the issue with that ride – there’s no way to make my thighs get skinnier.”
I was fine for the rest, just a little snug since the seats are a little narrower

Yesi then concluded: “It’s just something good to know if you’re going to Universal.
“I didn’t take offence to it, like I said, the ride attendants were super nice about it, Super apologetic, but it’s like it’s not their fault.”
‘LITERALLY TRAUMATISING’
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @yesivhdez, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly gone viral and has since amassed 2.3 million views.
Many social media users flocked to the comments, to reveal that this has also happened to them too.
One person said: “I got seat checked for raging spirits at Disneysea, the staff were so lovely about it though.”
Another added: “Omg this happened to me. After waiting like an hour in the line too.”
This also happened to me…I cried, I was so embarrassed.

A third commented: “This happened to me and I cried while watching the Pokémon parade.
“They made me go check on one of the test seats they had and it didn’t close, literally traumatising.”
Whilst someone else admitted: “This happened to me but instead of escorting me off they had all the “bigger” people waiting in a separate line for the front cart and were only putting like 3 people on the ride at a time.”
At the same time, another chimed in: “This also happened to me. Except it was in front of everyone while on the HP ride. I cried, I was so embarrassed.”
Yesi later confirmed: “It was just for the one Hippogriff ride. I was fine for the rest, just a little snug since the seats are a little narrower.”
