A SELF-STYLED rich housewife has controversially claimed that “love is for poor and ugly” people.
Izzy Anaya previously made headlines for warning other women that they may not be cut out for her luxury lifestyle.
Now, the 44-year-old has claimed that you can “learn to love anyone” if you’re flying on their private jet.
Izzy is a mum to two sons and claims she is the “CEO of her family” while her businessman husband works long hours away from home.
She has recently started referring to him as her “sugar daddy” and urged women in their 20s to find a man who will “pay their rent”.
Izzy sensationally shared that she thinks true romance is for “poor and ugly” people in a recent Instagram post.
“I loved a man once… but that taught me quickly that love was for the poor and the ugly,” she said.
“Us pretty girls have options – use them!
“You can learn to love anyone from 45,000 feet in the sky on a jet, I promise.”
The sentiment was shared alongside a picture of her sitting in a private jet wearing a Chanel beanie with a Chihuahua on her lap.
But Izzy counteracted her point by telling young women “the real flex is being your own sugar daddy and having your own”.
“Let’s make sure the next gen of women don’t mess this up as they have options and opportunities not all of us older gals had,” she added.
“Love can wait.
“We’ve got mountains to move and empires to build.”
Izzy’s husband has reportedly provided her with a private jet, a city home in New York, country and holiday homes across the US and countless designer handbags.
But she warned the glamorous lifestyle can be lonely if you’re not cut out for it.
“Be prepared to raise your kids on your own because your husband is not coming home at five o’clock,” she said in a TikTok video last year.
“You have to be highly independent and highly competent in order to thrive in this lifestyle.”
Izzy’s outlook on life has seen her gain a loyal social media following aspiring to achieve her high-flying lifestyle.
She has over 115,000 followers on video platform TikTok, and nearly 30,000 on Instagram.
The content creator has even started her own ‘reality show’ on her YouTube channel, aptly named Average Rich Housewife.
In the UK, around 75% of mums with dependent children are in work.
However, exact figures were last collected in June 2021 and are likely higher now due to the cost of living crisis putting increased financial pressures on families.
From 2020, in families where both parents are employed, it is more common for both parents to work full-time, rather than a man working full-time with a partner working part-time, data from the ONS also found.
Interestingly, more women are choosing to become small business owners to balance family duties with work.
Of the UK’s small and medium-sized enterprises with employees, 19% were led by women in 2021, according to research from the BEIS Small Business Survey.
